    A private equity backed professional services business requires a Senior Manager, M&A, to assist the CFO in the execution of a buy and build strategy.

    Largely responsible for the execution and integration planning of deals, the expectation is that the position will grow and develop as the business scales.

    Duties to include:

    • Assisting in origination and outreach duties.
    • The pricing and valuation of targets.
    • Work with the CFO on all negotiations.
    • Preparation of all pitch and deal related documentation, memorandums, etc.
    • Management of the FDD process – Handled in-house for smaller deals, and outsourced for larger, more strategic ones.
    • Act as point of contact for vendors, bankers, advisors, etc.
    • Deal structuring and execution duties.
    • Post -completion accounting and reporting.
    • 100 day planning, and liaising with the integration team to ensure the swift realisation of synergies and value.
    • Assisting the CFO in a range of other key growth related initiatives.

    Candidate profile:

    • Ideally qualified with TS/CF/Deal Advisory and corporate development experience.
    • Proven ability to execute and close deals.
    • Prior exposure to deal making in the lower mid / mid-market a distinct advantage.
    • Proven ability / desire to operate in a very hands on and initially unstructured environment.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    A PE backed software business on a significant buy and build programme requires their first integration lead. 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the integration playbook, acting in a hands-on capacity to drive activity across all workstreams, and will play a vital role in realising synergies and value, post-acquisition.

    To apply for this position you must speak English, plus an additional European language, ideally French or German.

    Duties to include:

    • Responsible for creating and developing a best-in-class integration team and capability.
    • Development of a group wide integration playbook / framework capable of seamlessly integrating 1 acquisition per month.
    • Work collaboratively with the M&A team to support on executing due diligence and to ensure integrations are front of mind at all stages of the M&A cycle.
    • Act as lead and drive all integration workstreams across the business – Finance, HR/People, I.T, Sales, etc.

    The Role:
