With over 25 years’ experience in the recruitment sector, David started out as a financial recruiter at Marks Sattin. He worked his way up to Managing Director before founding Finatal in 2010. He currently acts as Board Advisor to the leading private capital recruitment firm. 

Katie is an experienced board director and business advisor, with over 20 years’ experience working with and investing in mid-market businesses. Katie's executive career was as an investor and portfolio partner at Doughty Hanson, Darwin Private Equity and August Equity. Alongside her role at Finatal, Katie chairs BB7, a BGF-backed fire safety consulting business and works as a portfolio advisor and partner to Agathos Management.

With over 18 years’ of private equity recruitment, Paul has a large network of CFOs from whom he gets respect and huge loyalty. He will not give up a search until he gets the right result for them. Paul oversees all consultants in addition to driving our strategy for PE clients.

With over a decade of experience in recruitment, Mark joined Finatal in its infancy. He was promoted to lead the Interim business and has subsequently become Managing Director leading on our interim department and permanent finance teams. Mark continues to build an enviable network across private capital and is highly regarded across the market.

With over seven years’ recruitment experience in the private equity sector, Jack joined Finatal in 2017 and has since become a Managing Director. He leads the UK's interim management practice, interim finance practice and CFO practice, building an enviable track record and extensive network across private capital. Finatal’s interim offering was recently credited as a Gold Service Provider by the Institute of Interim Management. Jack was also highlighted as a leading consultant by the Institute of Interim Management in 2022.

Charlie spent the past ten years building an expansive network and reputation focusing on hiring investment, portfolio, and fundraising professionals. Charlie joined Finatal in 2020 and leads the Finatal Private Capital division.

Dominic is a Senior Partner at Finatal. Working closely with both funds and portfolio companies, he has an enviable track record across Europe servicing over 80 private equity houses, with lots of repeat engagements, including many of the world’s largest by AUM. He focuses on senior interim managers and consultants to drive value creation in private equity situations, often arising from deal activity, whether it be buy-outs, carve-outs, exits, buy and builds, or wider transformation programmes.

Monika is Senior Vice President at Finatal, responsible for growing the business’s US footprint. She has worked with high-growth businesses, both as a search partner and a leader. Her specialty within PE and VC-backed companies spans C-suite searches within finance, tech, sales and operations.

Monika started her career in investment banking search, later working at Mondo as Sr. Director of National Sales Strategy, then VP of Partnerships. She contributed to the business to doubling in size as she built the Midwest and US Executive practice. Most recently, she led the US growth of Renovata & Company’s subsidiary, Zeren.

Jamie has over 10 years’ experience placing Accountancy and Finance professionals. 

He joined Finatal in 2017 and specialises in CFO, Finance Director and VP of Finance hires across growth equity and venture capital backed businesses.

Priding himself on genuine consultancy, he partners with Investors, Founders and management teams to deliver exceptional talent, all whilst supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process to help secure the best opportunity for them.

Ishtah has 4 years’ recruitment experience across private capital. She graduated in Modern Languages and International Relations and utilises her skillset to build her international network, placing finance professionals across the globe. Ishtah is a trusted advisor to her clients and is known for her consultative manner with her loyal candidates.

As Marketing Director, Chloe leads the international marketing strategy for Finatal, overseeing brand, multichannel campaigns and internal and external communications. She has 10 years’ experience in B2B marketing, predominantly focused on professional services and technology.

Currently based in London, Chloe has spent time working in Europe, the Middle East and North America, and she holds a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology from St Andrews University.

Tom is an ACA qualified accountant who trained at Ernst & Young. He has spent the majority of his career in the recruitment sector. Previously, he was FD of Impellam Plc’s education recruitment businesses. He also spent time working in their US business. His experience centres around building high performing, scalable teams, and providing commercial insight to accelerate growth trajectories.

As Head of People, Isabella leads the people strategy for Finatal overseeing HR, Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development. She has 20 years’ experience working within the recruitment industry and over 12 years specialising within Learning and Development.

Cameron has 8 years working within search and recruitment.

He heads up the Permanent Finance practice; having been with the business for 7 years, he has built up extensive market knowledge across the PE market.

Nick is an experienced Finance and Accountancy recruiter, with over 14 years’ experience of placing high-calibre qualified and executive level professionals across London, the South East, and internationally.

Nick now heads our Corporate Development and M&A Practice working with UK and global clients across funds and their extensive portfolios.

Michael has 6 years' experience in accounting and finance recruitment. He is the Head of Interim Management and leads his team to ensure Finatal deliver time and time again. He is highly consultative in his approach and has a huge network across the senior management and finance market. 

 

Harry joined Finatal in 2023, he is now Head of Practice - Transformation, Tech Leadership and Data and Analytics. He has a loyal talent pool across the UK and an extensive network of private equity funds and their portfolio businesses.

Nish has over 8 years’ experience in recruitment. Nish is a key member of the Data & Analytics Practice and places high calibre specialist candidates within the market. His focus is supporting private equity backed, high-growth SaaS businesses. Through his vast experience, he understands the challenges of scaling and growing ambitious businesses.
 
 

With over 3 years’ experience in private capital recruitment, Clara heads up our Interim Finance team. Her expertise, pace and consultative offering ensures she delivers on Interim assignments efficiently. 
 

As Head of Practice - Interim Data at Finatal, Mark brings a dynamic and strategic approach to the firm's operations. With his extensive background and expertise, he has quickly made an impact since joining the company in May 2023.

Tom worked in recruiting for four years hiring senior finance and accounting positions after he graduated. Tom works in Finatal’s Permanent CFO practice as a Principal. He has a loyal talent pool across the UK and an extensive network of private equity funds and their portfolio businesses.

Victoria joined Finatal after studying law at the University of Bristol. Victoria has 3 years’ experience working within private equity recruitment. She is an Associate Partner working within Finatal’s interim management team, placing senior finance individuals across a plethora of portfolio businesses.
 

Aaron joined Finatal in 2021, bringing with him credible experience within the market, working with senior executives across FTSE100 and private capital clients. Aaron is a Principal in our Interim Management Practice and works with funds and their portfolios.
 

Tristan is Head of Practice - Technology Leadership, having joined Finatal in 2023 and found its technology leadership practice. He brings with him over ten years of technology experience across multiple levels in Private Capital, in the UK, Europe and the US.

Clark graduated from the University of Nottingham, and joined Finatal after four years with a private equity search firm. Clark now works as a Principal Consultant in our private capital practice and has a focus of mid to senior level hires across the large-cap and mega funds.

Edward has 3 years’ experience within recruitment. He is an integral part of Finatal’s Transformation team as a Principal Consultant. His pace is reflective of the market he serves, and he has grown an expansive client base through his invaluable private capital knowledge. 

 

Sonja has over 7 years´ experience placing Interim professionals in the Banking & Financial Services sector. She joined Finatal in 2023 and specialises in Interim CFO roles, M&A Experts and FP&A professionals.

Achim joined our team in Frankfurt as a Principal Consultant this year. He specialises in placing interim CFOs, CROs and M&A experts from pre-deal to exit in the industrial sector.

Lewis joined Finatal in 2023, bringing with him over a decade of experience in Technology recruitment and a proven background of helping businesses build high-performing teams. He now works as a Principal Consultant within Finatal's Technology practice helping PE backed software businesses find the leadership talent they need.

Jakob joined Finatal in 2022 as a Principal in our European practice based in our recently opened Frankfurt office. 

Max joined Finatal in 2022 as Principal in our Transformation Practice. Max has an excellent track record in building out Transformation practices across both the FTSE and Private Capital markets. 

Ethan joined Finatal after graduating from The University of Warwick. He now works as a Principal Consultant in our Tech Leadership Practice and has built a lengthy track record over the time he’s been with the company. 
 

After graduating from the University of Bristol, Jack now strengthens our CFO practice as a Principal Consultant. He has an impressive track record in placing senior finance individuals across a diverse range of businesses. William joined Finatal in 2022. He is a Consultant in the Private Capital practice, placing high profile investment professionals across private capital markets. Rachael joined Finatal as a Consultant after graduating from the University of St Andrews. She joined with prior recruitment experience, and currently works in the Private Capital Practice in a 360-degree capacity.

Lucy joined Finatal with 18 months of recruitment experience after graduating from the University of York. She now works as a Consultant in the Private Capital Practice and has built a strong rapport with members of her team and with clients in the time she’s been here. 

Charlie is a Consultant in our Interim Finance team. He has two years' experience in recruitment, previously specialising in financial systems, and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Economics & Politics.
