    Finatal are partnering with a highly acquisitive software business which is currently mid-cycle with a recognisable private equity backer. The business has scaled through buy-and-build activity to beyond £100m ARR. On reflection of the business’ impressive growth trajectory and continued professionalization, the business requires a Head of FP&A.

    This Head of FP&A opportunity will suit a candidate who demonstrates attributes synonymous of a private equity environment (detail orientated, act at pace, and enthused by value creation projects). The business is international and scaling through buy-and-build activity with a strong pipeline of deals for 2024 with the ambition of a predicted secondary PE buyout within the next 2 years.

    The role

    The Responsibilities

    • assess, challenge, and improve existing FP&A processes.
    • Partner cross functionally and articulate trends, and insightful quantifiable analysis to Senior Stakeholders and the Board.
    • and Quarterly budget preparation.
    • future tools to support analysis, and utilise existing systems (Netsuite, Salesforce and Power BI)
    • a team of 2 business partners.
    • the Corporate Development team on acquisitions pre-deal during the due dilligence phase.
    • on modelling and present articulately (3 statement, scenario and long term forecasting)
    • directly to the CFO, you will support on strategic projects, three year planning, exit readiness and acquisition related activities such as post deal integration.

     

    The requirements

    The Requirements

    • ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
    • of 7 years’ experience as a post-qualified experience.
    • within a high functioning and complex environment (international/various product offerings).
    • ability to maximise systems (Netsuite, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce).
    • detail orientated mindset, and the ability to critically assess existing processes to achieve “best in class”.
    • experience of working in a business backed by an institutional fund (stereotypically one which moves at pace, acquisitions, an index on detail and exposure to Senior Leadership).
