    The Opportunity:

    Finatal is partnering exclusively with a leading mid-market Private Equity-backed SaaS business headquartered in Mayfair. This is a high-growth business with a very strong client base. They are currently turning over £30 million and with their recent PE investment, they are looking to grow rapidly and will be turning over £50 million within the next 2-3 years. This growth with be organic and more significantly, through acquisitions.

    Heading up the finance function is an excellent Private Equity CFO who is looking for a FC to join the businesses’ journey and ultimately contribute to an exit in 2-3 years’ time. This a new role that will play a key role in the success of the group and is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, growing PE-backed business. This role is a successor role suited to an individual looking to step into an FD/CFO role in 5 years.

    The Role:

    • Commercial/ FP&A: Building budgets and forecasts and looking at the strategy within them. Building the business plan, looking at business profitability.
    • Technical: Running the audit, overlooking tax compliance and group consolidations while reviewing and overlooking the accounting of 2 management accountants.
    • M&A: It is expected that the successful candidate will support with due diligence, search and integration for multiple planned acquisitions.
    • Reporting: Ownership of reporting, improving, and maintaining quality and standards. Bank and covenant reporting. Building dashboards & KPIs and using these to influence strategy and operations.
    • Exit: Carrying out exit prep, due diligence, analysis and modelling exit value.
    • Ad Hoc projects and analysis.

    Key requirements:

    • IFRS and Consolidation experience
    • 2+ years post qual
    • ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified
    • Attention to detail
