They are seeking a seasoned Interim Finance Director to join their team for a 6-month contract. As the Interim Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and optimizing performance during this critical period of growth and development.

The role

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the finance function through a period of transformation, working closely with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to professionalize our finance systems and processes, leveraging best practices and technology solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
Conduct a thorough review of existing financial systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and strengthen internal controls.
Oversee the implementation of new finance systems and tools, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and providing training and support to finance team members as needed.
Lead the development and implementation of robust financial reporting and analysis capabilities, providing senior management and investors with timely, accurate, and actionable insights into business performance.
Drive improvements in financial planning and forecasting processes, enhancing our ability to anticipate and mitigate risks, optimize resource allocation, and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, providing financial expertise and guidance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial goals.

The requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role, preferably within the Data Analytics industry or related sectors.
Strong understanding of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business performance and profitability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a track record of professional achievement and continuous learning.
