The opportunity:

Finatal's European Practice has flourished in its success and are now looking for an Associate to join our team in Frankfurt. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or career changer looking to pivot into recruitment.

As an Associate with Finatal, you’ll be at the epicentre of the Private Capital space, providing critical support to and learning from the best in the business. This role will be an integral part of the DACH practice, working with a remarkable variety of market-leading candidates and clients on a range of critical C-Suite level mandates.

Your role:

• Proactively identify and engage with best-in-class senior candidates, cultivating your own network of trusted relationships
• Utilise exceptional communication, on the phone and in person, understanding candidates’ backgrounds and motivations, and efficiently match these to our client mandates
• Be the pivotal first point of contact for candidates and acting as an ambassador for Finatal
• Be a key player in the deal process, directly impacting the careers of industry leaders and the successes of Private Equity businesses
• Harness market knowledge, deep-diving into your own research and leveraging our training and expertise to become an industry expert in your own right

The ideal candidate:

While we provide the tools for success, it is up to you to make it happen. Some attributes we look for include:

• Fluent in German and English
• University degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar market is preferrable but not essential
• Highly motivated, ambitious and willing to work hard to succeed
• Capacity to maintain high standards while thriving in a fast-paced setting
• Impeccable communication skills and the ability to make an impact on senior candidates
• Strong research and analytical skills
