    Job Description

    The Role: Interim COO

    The Location: Remote

    Pay Rate: €1200 - €1500 + expenses

    Finatal is currently partnered with a mid-market pan-European fund seeking an Interim COO for their growing multisite Manufacturing business with revenues of c.€800m.

     The Interim Chief Operating Officer will play a critical leadership role in creating and executing an S&OP roadmap to ensure operational efficiency as they grow globally organically and inorganically. The primary focus is on supply chain management and customer service excellence.

    Key duties/responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Lead the development and execution of an S&OP strategy to align sales forecasts with production, inventory, and supply chain capabilities. Champion a customer-centric culture by implementing strategies to improve customer service levels, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Drive operational efficiency initiatives across all departments to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
    • Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.

    Supply Chain Management:

    Oversee supply chain management activities, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products/services.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and innovative solutions to enhance operational performance.
