    Finatal is partnering with a rapidly expanding Healthcare business, backed by a prominent Private Equity firm. With a remarkable turnover of £150 million and an impressive EBITDA of £25 million, the business is renowned for their exceptional care and have received numerous accolades for their commitment to excellence. As they embark on an exciting journey towards a possible carve-out of sites or a large-scale exit within the next two years, they are seeking a highly skilled Head of FP&A to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to build an FP&A function from scratch and play a pivotal role in shaping their financial future.

    As the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the FP&A function within their organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will provide strategic financial insights, drive performance analysis, and develop robust financial planning and analysis processes. This is a high-impact role that offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to their growth and success. Over the next 18 months, you will also have the exciting task of building and leading a team of 5x FP&A Analysts.

    The Role:

    • Establish and lead the FP&A function, creating and implementing financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial planning model, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, investment appraisal, and business performance evaluation.
    • Collaborate with operational and business teams to drive performance improvements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
    • Prepare and present regular financial reports, management dashboards, and variance analyses to senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure and track financial and operational performance.
    • Partner with the CFO and executive team to support fundraising activities, financial modelling, and investor presentations.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in FP&A, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance our financial strategies.

    The Requirements:

    • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA are highly desirable.
    • Proven experience in FP&A leadership roles within the Healthcare industry, preferably within a Private Equity-backed environment.
    • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis methodologies, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
    • Experience in building and leading FP&A teams, with the ability to recruit, train, and mentor team members.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
    • Solid understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and regulatory frameworks.
    • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with data visualization software.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
