Group FP&A Director
Job Description
Finatal are retained on a search for a Group FP&A Director to join a scaling private equity backed buy and build within the facilities services sector. The business has capitalised on a fragmented marketspace and is currently t/o c.£100m with the ambition of a predicted exit inside of the next 12-18months. The business requires an experienced, private equity proven Group FP&A Director to work closely alongside an experienced CFO, driving strategic decision making and performance towards the predicted exit.
The successful candidate must be accustomed to the agility and pace of change within a private equity backed business, and be a pro-active, operationally orientated strategic thinker, who is articulate and confident in their presentation skills, and liaising with divisional MD’s and investors.

The role

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our business objectives and growth plans, leveraging M&A opportunities.
- Lead financial due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, assessing financial risks, opportunities, and integration plans.
- Drive financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and post-acquisition integration efforts.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and agility in financial reporting.
- Implement robust financial controls, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential acquisition targets, negotiate deal terms, and execute successful integrations.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor financial performance, track synergies, and drive operational excellence.
