    The Opportunity

    Finatal is partnering with a middle-market private equity fund that has recently acquired a rapidly growing industrial business serving the entertainment industry.  The leadership team is actively seeking a visionary CFO to join their ranks and aid in facilitating both acquisitive growth and organic expansion.

    This role is tailored for CFOs with a proven track record in dynamic environments, particularly those within private equity-backed businesses, and a genuine passion for industrial industry and people-orientated businesses.

    Role & Responsibilities:

    The selected candidate will assume a central role in shaping the financial landscape during post investment, as well as during the rapid expansion. The company seeks a CFO with extensive financial leadership experience, especially in the context of private equity-backed companies. Reporting directly to the CEO and closely collaborating with private equity partners, the CFO will lead efforts to ensure financial excellence, oversee due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, and optimize the finance function to support the company's growth.


    ·       Demonstrated proficiency as a CFO or senior finance executive in fast-growing, private equity-backed and founder-led businesses, especially within the industrial space.

    ·       Experience in M&A and integration

    ·       Strong background in managing debt and banking relationships

    ·       Experience building and leading small, but robust finance teams.

    ·       Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities to guide well-informed investment decisions.

    ·       Strong leadership capabilities to effectively inspire and guide finance teams throughout dynamic growth phases.

    ·       Exceptional communication and presentation skills, underpinned by the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.

    ·       A strong sense of ambition and enthusiasm for servicing the entertainment industry.

    ·       Experience in entertainment industry is a nice-to-have.

      • Finatal is working with a Boston based LMM private equity investor that is looking to hire an experienced PE associate or VP to assist with an initial three month project
      • The fund is sector agnostic with a significant portfolio and requires a seasoned PE professional to work across the portfolio
      • Whilst the initial engagement is a short term contract, with anticipated future growth there may be a longer term/permanent role

      Finatal are partnered with a middle market private equity fund that are looking for a CFO for one of their portfolio companies. The business is a construction business ($20m EBIDTA) that was formed through a merger of two industry leaders, through private capital, 12 months ago. The business is now looking for a CFO who is an expert in the construction industry to complete the integration of the two platforms, professionalise and build the finance function and become a key member of the senior leadership team, partnering with the private equity team on the long-term strategy. The incoming CFO must have commercial contracting experience, a track record of dealing with general contractors and be super hand-on in the weeds of the business to dictate change.

      Finatal are working with an investor in the pharmaceutical services/CRO space to appoint a new Finance Director across two of their portfolio companies, one of which is in portfolio and one of which is a start-up platform. The ideal candidate will work with experienced scale-up CEOs to put finance infrastructure in place and give valuable commercial insight to the senior team and investors as these businesses grow.


      Experience of professional services, B2B services or a connection to pharmaceutical services/CRO is preferred. The role will require one day per week onsite at London and Bristol, with the rest remote, on a pro rata basis. There may also be potential for one day per week working across the portfolio.
