Finatal is currently working with a Private Equity-backed event management business that has a strong focus on ESG solutions and emission tracking. After a recent Private Equity investment, they are looking for a proactive Tableau Developer to join their data team to further drive an efficient data culture across the organisation. They are continually expanding internationally including the USA, Australia, and EMEA regions, and as the BI Developer you will be a key driver in the long-term plan for data to be at the forefront of decision-making and to improve their reporting capabilities as they continue with the international expansion plan.

The role

Utilising your strong SQL skills for data querying, troubleshooting, and developing key reports in Tableau to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that drive optimisation across several business functions.
Reporting to the Group BI & Data Product Manager, you will spearhead international reporting efforts across the group and partner network helping to change the way clients interact with their data.
Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders; gathering business needs and requirements for support system tasks as well as maintaining strong client relationships.
Ensuring best practice guidelines, training materials and documentation are maintained and continually improved where necessary.
Driving process automation and self-service solutions throughout the business to maximise the efficiency of data usage.

The requirements

Strong background in BI developer roles or similar positions, particularly with expertise in T-SQL query writing and Tableau Desktop/Server development for creating clear reports using both Tableau and SSRS
Experience working with a variety of file formats and data sets with strong Excel skills.
Exposure to developing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and implementing ETL using SSIS.
It would be beneficial to have exposure to Python and work with Snowflake and dbt.
