The Opportunity:
I am currently working with a world-leading multi-site entertainment business going through a massive global growth phase. Currently, Private Equity backed, they are gearing up for an exit within 18 months.
Heading up the finance function is an excellent CFO who is looking for a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join the team and produce clear-cut consolidations of financial information, in support of a global M&A growth strategy. The right candidate will be an effective business partner throughout the organisation. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, growing PE-backed business who are seriously committed to social responsibility and the entertainment arts.
The Role:
- Consolidation of c.100 entities: evaluating and challenging reports from subsidiary teams.
- Business partnering across the Group and providing insight to relevant stakeholders in cross-function collaborations.
- Use of Cognos Controller consolidation system (with training and support).
- Report monthly balance sheet and cashflow to the board, investors and banks.
- Integrate and onboard newly acquired businesses into the group.
- Assist the Group Financial Manager with the consolidated IFRS and annual group audit.
- Various ad hoc tasks for the Group function.

This will suit an individual either based in Surrey or London who is able to travel to Woking.
Key requirements:
- ACA Qualification.
- Experience in a group financial role or complex multinational environment (audit or industry).
- Technical skillset, with a good understanding of IFRS.
- Multi-currency consolidation experience.
- Audit or industry experience in UK statutory accounts.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
