A distinguished financial services institution, working within the international Private Equity landscape, is searching for a Senior Financial Controller, capable of adhering to financial regulatory reporting across multinational entities. Raising capital and advising on transactions, the firm is looking for an ambitious individual to join their tremendous growth journey.

The Position:

As Senior Financial Controller, you will have autonomy and responsibility for the scaling group finance function, balancing granular details with the bigger picture. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage two direct reports, navigate relationships at all seniority levels and fit seamlessly into a pacy, ambitious team.

The role

Overseeing month-end close across 4 entities.
Ownership of Group Consolidated accounts.
Financial regulatory reporting in the UK and France – review, submission, compliance.
Timely implementation of new regulatory requirements.
Regulatory capital forecast.
Management of year-end audit for two UK entities, a French entity, and the Group function.
Preparation of statutory accounts.
Oversight of co-investment vehicle: accounts, limited partnership tax returns, loan scheme.
Handling of the shareholding scheme: accounts, loan scheme.
Management of two direct reports.
Progression of Group accounting and reporting policies and processes.
Creation and development of streamlining and strengthening procedural innovations.

The requirements

Degree educated (2:1 or higher).
Accountancy qualification (ACA or equivalent).
5+ years post-qualified experience.
10+ years’ experience in a similar role within a regulated financial services or professional services environment.
Advanced Excel and modelling skills (vlookup, pivot tables).
Knowledge of accounting software.
