Finatal is currently partnered with an VC backed Online Marketplace & Booking Platform – with recent Series A funding of circa £35 million, they are now heavily focused on driving data-led decisions to increase ROI. As the Senior Data Analyst, you will be working with the new Head of Data to drive a proactive data culture across the organisation and with key stakeholders such as CFO & CCO. Working in a team of 4 you will collaborate with marketing, finance, product, and sales functions to give valuable insights and recommendations that will increase efficiency. In the long term, you will support the overall data strategy and help build and manage the data team as the company grows.

The role

You will have full ownership of the Looker platform creating and maintaining data models, visualisations and automated reports allowing different business areas to self-serve, using Tableau, snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.
Analyse and interpret complex data sets to generate insights and recommendations for commercial functions of the businesses, this could involve leading projects around improving key metrics such as customer LTV and Churn.
Build and maintain self-service tools for data analysis and reporting.
Working closely with key stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop appropriate solutions, presenting clear insights to drive data-led decision-making, increase efficiency, and gain traction on potential business opportunities.
Opportunity to develop engineering skills within transformation and data modelling in dbt.

The requirements

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in Data Analytics and visualisation.
Exceptional communication skills with a track record of working closely with and presenting to the C-suite and the challenges that come with that.
You will have used one or more visualisation tools e.g., Tableau, and Looker and have proficient knowledge of SQL.
Skilled in nurturing data-driven culture, while keenly leveraging commercial opportunities.
