A PE backed IT Services and Consulting business is seeking to hire their first M&A Director.
As well as leading the buy and build strategy you will also support the CEO and wider C-Suite with a number of key initiatives/organic growth agendas.
Duties to include:
- Developing and driving the groups new M&A strategy.
- Assisting with origination duties.
- All aspects of pricing, valuations, and vendor management.
- Act as the “face” of the business in relation to M&A activities.
- Working with advisors to structure deals and agree the SPA.
- Oversee all DD workstreams – FDD, Tax, and Legal DD to be outsourced.
- Be responsible for executing all deals.
- Post completion accounting duties.
- 100 day planning and working with internal department heads to ensure the efficient integration of acquired businesses.
- Working with the CEO, CFO, and PE sponsor on a range of organic growth initiatives.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven deal execution experience.
- Prior experience from Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, or Banking.
- In-house corporate development experience preferred.
- Prior experience executing deals in the lower mid / mid-market essential.
- A willingness and ability to help drive origination activities.
- The ability to bring rigour to M&A and initially work in an unstructured environment
- First class communication and presentation skills.
