Interim Power BI Developer / Data Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid)

Finatal are working with a Private Equity backed manufacturing business specializing in the automotive industry. With a focus on innovation, quality, and efficiency, they have cemented their reputation as an industry leader. Having experienced +75x revenue growth in the last 5 years, the business aims to optimize their manufacturing processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
They are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join their team on an interim basis to aid in transforming data into actionable insights. The role will involve designing, developing, and deploying interactive data visualizations and reports using the Microsoft Power BI platform. You will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders to gather their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The role will also involve maintaining and supporting existing Power BI solutions.
Experience working in a Private Equity environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, and quality teams to understand manufacturing data requirements and business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key manufacturing performance metrics, such as production efficiency, yield, and equipment downtime.
- Optimize data models to ensure efficient and accurate reporting, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and quality control metrics.
- Create data ETL processes to consolidate and clean data from various manufacturing systems, including ERP and MES.
- Work with large datasets from multiple sources, including IoT sensors and production machines.
- Continuously monitor and improve existing reports and dashboards to drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide training and support to manufacturing teams in utilizing Power BI reports to make data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to the development of predictive maintenance models and process optimization strategies based on data analysis.
