    Finatal are partnering with a private equity backed EV Charging company on an exciting growth plan. They are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent individual to take lead with onboarding new acquisitions whilst deep diving into the newly acquired business’ reporting to provide clarity to the parent. You will lead the FP&A function whilst adding your own imprint and building a new team of analysts.

      A PE backed software business on a significant buy and build programme requires their first integration lead. 

      The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the integration playbook, acting in a hands-on capacity to drive activity across all workstreams, and will play a vital role in realising synergies and value, post-acquisition.

      To apply for this position you must speak English, plus an additional European language, ideally French or German.

      Duties to include:

      • Responsible for creating and developing a best-in-class integration team and capability.
      • Development of a group wide integration playbook / framework capable of seamlessly integrating 1 acquisition per month.
      • Work collaboratively with the M&A team to support on executing due diligence and to ensure integrations are front of mind at all stages of the M&A cycle.
      • Act as lead and drive all integration workstreams across the business – Finance, HR/People, I.T, Sales, etc.
      • Chair the integration SteerCo and all integration meetings.
      • Keep the Board (including the PE sponsor) up to date with all key integration activity.
      • Drive continual improvements to integration processes and systems to ensure they are fit for purpose for the expanding group.
      • Drive continual post-integration activities to ensure ongoing realisation of synergies and value creation.
      • Act as point of contact for any integration queries / escalations.
      • Working with the COO, CFO, and CEO on a range of key projects and initiatives.

      Candidate Requirements:

      • Fluent English + additional fluent European language – Essential.
      • Highly experienced integration professional with in-house integrations experience preferred.
      • Hugely positive, personable, and engaging individual.
      • Proven ability to engage with a range of stakeholders (internal & external) and to quickly gain buy in / build rapport.
      • Prior experience of driving integration activities across all workstreams.
      • Proven problem solver.
      • The experience to pre-empt potential obstacles and avert them before they arise.
      • Prior experience integrating businesses in the lower mid to mid markets (Enterprise value of circa. £20m to £100m) - Highly desirable.
      • Prior experience integrating software or technology businesses a bonus (not essential).

      Finatal is currently partnered with a highly profitable and rapidly scaling medical devices business based in Nottingham who are looking for a CFO.

      The business has recently taken on private equity investment from a leading mid-market PE house who are looking to continue the strong organic growth of the business and supplement with domestic acquisitions.

      There is a significant opportunity for the business to scale internationally, most probably continental Europe, the CFO will lead alongside the CEO on this.

      This is a broad CFO opportunity. There is an initial remit to professionalise the level of reporting, controllership, data, systems & MI before pivoting to more of a commercial / strategic business partner to the PE & SLT.

      The successful candidate will have worked in a private equity backed business beforehand ideally achieving a successful exit. Experience in manufacturing / medical devices / FMCG will be looked upon favourably.

      Responsibilities:

      • Lead and manage all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

      • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
      • Demonstrated expertise in leading and executing successful acquisitions, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
      • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to foster a high-performance culture.
      • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
      • Strategic mindset with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks.
      • Knowledge of the data solutions space and understanding of industry trends is highly desirable.
