Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly competent and dedicated Interim Finance Manager to lead the management and financial accounting functions within our client's organization. This role demands exceptional financial acumen, the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting, and a focus on delivering accurate and insightful financial information. As the Finance Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to oversee the consolidation of accounts for newly acquired entities within the group.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the preparation and analysis of management accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Manage the financial accounting processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
Lead the consolidation of financial statements for newly acquired entities, providing accurate and consolidated financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting and analysis.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications:
ACA qualification is essential.
Relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within a fast-paced retail or consumer goods environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting practices.
Proven experience in financial consolidation and group reporting.
Excellent proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
Ability to adapt and excel in a rapidly changing and dynamic business environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
