Finatal are working with a cutting edge e-commerce business that has recently gained investment from a well-respected Private Equity fund. The business has a strong commitment to customer experience and innovation. They have experienced rapid growth in the last 3 years and are now looking to expand their data team to aid their future growth.
As an interim Analytics Engineer, you will be joining a small team on a 6 month basis initially. The role involves deciphering valuable insights from extensive data sets from a range of sources and aiding the data-driven decision making process throughout the organization. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams across the business and will work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics solutions to elevate e-commerce strategies.
Experience in a Private Equity environment is essential.
Design and implement data models tailored to e-commerce intricacies, ensuring scalability and performance in handling large datasets.
Leverage statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract deeper insights from e-commerce data, contributing to predictive modeling and optimization.
Work with various data sources, ensuring seamless integration and consistency in e-commerce analytics processes.
Continuously refine and optimize analytical processes to enhance efficiency and reduce latency in delivering e-commerce insights.
Develop and maintain models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and other e-commerce-specific predictions.
Drive experimentation initiatives, implementing and analyzing A/B tests to optimize user experiences and boost e-commerce performance.
Work closely with software development teams to implement analytics solutions within e-commerce platforms and applications
Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior on the e-commerce platform, providing actionable insights to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
Collaborate with the marketing team to measure and analyze the effectiveness of e-commerce marketing campaigns.
Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings. Share knowledge with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
