    Head of FP&A, E-Commerce  

    Location: London  

    Salary: £100k-£110k + bonus

They have just received investment from a flourishing PE fund and are now looking to elevate their team. The PE fund is renowned for its ability to carry out successful buy-and-builds, and M&A within this company is on the horizon. This company is renowned for its selection of eclectic, affordable products including fashion, homewares and cosmetics. A successful candidate will be made No.2 in this growth-focused company’s finance team, enriching the team with a strategic, insightful approach. This excellent role will allow you to work alongside a highly accomplished CFO and be part of an exhilarating growth journey.  

    The Role 

    • Designing a top-of-the-line, adaptable FP&A function, supporting the business in accomplishing its exciting growth strategy.  

    • Effectively forecasting and providing analysis to all stakeholders involved in sales, operations and marketing.  

    • Complete responsibility of annual and long-term plan, managing budget and year-end forecasts. 

    • Preparing scenario modelling for all commercial activity, including M&A.  

    • Leading and managing an unrivalled FP&A team.  

    • Providing expert, data-driven insights to senior executives and functional leaders.  

    Key Requirements 

    • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified  

    • Experience working within a PE backed business is desirable.  

    • Experience working within the E-Commerce industry.  

    • Great communication and management skills.

      Finatal are working with an investor in the pharmaceutical services/CRO space to appoint a new Finance Director across two of their portfolio companies, one of which is in portfolio and one of which is a start-up platform. The ideal candidate will work with experienced scale-up CEOs to put finance infrastructure in place and give valuable commercial insight to the senior team and investors as these businesses grow.


      Experience of professional services, B2B services or a connection to pharmaceutical services/CRO is preferred. The role will require one day per week onsite at London and Bristol, with the rest remote, on a pro rata basis. There may also be potential for one day per week working across the portfolio.

      The client is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to lead their finance team, supporting the CFO. This role is crucial in providing strategic financial insights, ensuring robust financial control, and contributing to the overall success of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
