The Opportunity:
Finatal are partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing Private Equity backed B2C/Ecommerce business, a true growing leader in the industry. With a staggering year-on-year growth rate of 30%, the business is proud to have achieved a £200m turnover and an impressive EBITDA of £35m.
Their success story is just beginning, as they embark on an ambitious buy & build strategy, with a well-defined exit plan over the next 3 years.
The business is also eager to expand their operations into both European and North American markets, solidifying their position as a global player in the sector.
We are seeking a Group Head of FP&A to join a high-calibre finance team. Reporting directly to an experienced Group CFO, who has a track record of scaling businesses and leading successful exits. This role is pivotal in driving their growth strategy both within and outside the finance function.
We require a candidate with substantial Private Equity experience, ideally having navigated through an exit, and with a strong background in the B2C or retail/ecommerce sector. This position demands a professional finance qualification and the ability to be present at a central London office for 3 days per week.
The Role:
Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of the group's financial planning and analysis processes, aligning them with our growth strategy.
Private Equity Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of Private Equity dynamics to provide valuable insights and support for our ambitious plans, including exit strategies.
International Expansion: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a financial roadmap for expansion into Europe and North America.
Team Management: Oversee a team of 3x regional FP&A Managers (UK, Europe, and North America), providing guidance and leadership.
C-Suite Partnership: Collaborate closely with the C-suite and board of investors, providing financial analysis and guidance to drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
Proven experience in Private Equity-backed environments, with exposure to exits.
Strong background in the B2C or retail/ecommerce sector.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Leadership experience and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Flexibility to work in a central London office 3 days per week.
