    Group FP&A Manager

    London – Hybrid

    Salary - £100,000 - £120,000 + bonus


    The Company:

    We are working with a rapidly growing Software - SaaS organisation backed by a prestigious large-cap private equity firm. The business is turning over £800 million with a £300mil EBITDA; being exceptionally well funded, they are looking to continue on their stellar growth trajectory. This growth will be organic as well as via a buy-and-build with several acquisitions already in the pipeline. Hence the need for a Group FP&A Manager to join their best-in-class finance function and contribute to, and be apart of their journey leading up to a private equity exit in 2-3 years time. This is a rare chance to work alongside award-winning CEO, CFO, and Group Finance Director – all with multiple exits under their belts. This is also a successor role to the Group Finance Director in c.18 months and therefore, highly suited to an ambitious individual seeking an opportunity for career progression.

    The Role:

    As Group FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in this finance function, specifically focusing on FP&A reporting responsibilities. You will work closely with the Head of FP&A, a seasoned industry professional, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust financial models from scratch, assess investment opportunities, and provide valuable insights to drive decision-making processes.


    • M&A: Monitor and track post-merger financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to drive operational efficiency.
    • Internal Reporting: Oversee and enhance monthly Alternative Performance Measures (APMs) reporting processes encompassing Flash, CEO, and Board Reports, as well as Management Accounts. Ensure FP&A and Statutory reporting teams adhere to Alternative Performance Measures timelines and improve relevant metrics, actively analysing and connecting these metrics for commercial success. Provide expert insights into internal and external metrics, supporting analysis and ad-hoc requests for the businesses’ management.
    • Private Equity & External Reporting: Oversee and consolidate APMs for Quarterly Statements, Board Reporting, and Annual Accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with IFRS. Maintain comprehensive definitions and corresponding backups for each APM, actively contributing to the ARA process and supporting FP&A inputs for key financial reviews. Additionally, coordinate monthly Finance Meetings with the Private Equity Firm to facilitate effective financial discussions.

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Experience working in a Technology/ Software business is desired.
    • Experience in a similar-sized business is highly preferred.
    • Significant senior reporting experience, particularly in a listed company setting, as the business has parts that are listed.
    • Demonstrated ability to prepare high-level reports for audit committees and boards.
    • Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis, with proven expertise in managing senior stakeholders across locations.
    • CPA/ACA/ACCA Qualified.
    • Familiarity with PowerBi is advantageous.
