We are seeking a Group Finance Systems Manager to join a lean and agile finance function. Reporting directly to a dynamic and experienced Finance Director, you will work alongside competent and commercially driven finance professionals. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and optimizing our finance systems, ensuring they align with our evolving business needs and support our growth strategy.
The Role:
Finance Systems Management: Lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of finance systems, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
Process Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements within the finance function, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity across finance systems, providing reliable financial information for decision-making.
Integration of Acquisitions: Play a critical role in integrating financial systems and processes of newly acquired businesses into our organization.
Reporting: Develop and maintain robust reporting tools and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, implementing necessary controls and processes.
The Requirements:
Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
Strong technical knowledge of finance systems and proficiency with relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, reporting tools).
Proven experience in managing finance systems in a complex and dynamic environment.
Exposure to M&A activities and the ability to integrate finance systems post-acquisition is highly desirable.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
