The business is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Manager to join the finance team and work directly with and report to the visionary CFO. In this hybrid role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company. You will not only build and manage the traditional aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling but also become a strategic finance business partner, collaborating with key internal stakeholders to drive growth and empower commercial decisions.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Financial Modelling: Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Strategic Finance Business Partner: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive the overall strategy of the business.
Performance Analysis: Monitor key financial performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads and senior management, to understand their needs and align financial plans with their objectives.
Reporting: Generate insightful financial reports and presentations for senior management and investors.
Ad Hoc Analysis: Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the CFO and executive team.
Professional Finance Qualification; ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a similar FP&A role, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to financial challenges.
Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing various aspects of our finance operations, including systems optimization, month-end processes, reporting, and daily reconciliations and consolidations. They require a driven, proactive and commercially minded FP&A Lead to join the business during a period of high growth. You will be responsible for business partnering with functions throughout the business. You must have a strategic approach to analysis and forecasting. You will also be hands-on with the financial due diligence for future acquisitions. Finatal are currently partnered with a high-growth social care firm who have been newly acquired by an international mid-market private equity investor. The firm are seeking an FD on a permanent basis as they look to go on a fast-paced buy-&-build to further achieve their growth strategy. Furthermore, with revenues of £60m and EBITDA of £10m, the business are looking to triple their profits by the time of their exit in 3 years. This is a brilliant opportunity to work alongside the highly skilled CEO, Chairman and PE house to both identify and lead acquisitions whilst having full autonomy over the finance function. In addition, as the firm provides the opportunity to shape a young child’s life through the provision of the best possible care, the role will prove to be immensely rewarding and fulfilling.
The successful candidate will play in integral role in professionalising the back-office functions whilst further preparing the firm for a period of rapid growth.
