The Opportunity:
Finatal are partnering with a rapidly growing, Private Equity-backed Telecoms business headquartered in the heart of London. With a proven track record of scaling and exiting businesses, a dynamic CFO and best-in-class Private Equity CEO are on a mission to drive growth and success in the telecommunications sector. We are now seeking a Financial Controller/#2 in finance to join the team and play a pivotal role in their journey towards expansion and an exit in the next 2-3 years.
As a Financial Controller at our company, you will have the incredible opportunity to work directly with our dynamic CFO and experienced Private Equity CEO. You will be a key player in a high-growth, commercially-driven environment where your expertise will be instrumental in our success. This role is your chance to take a significant step up in your career or further advance your existing Financial Controller position, all while working in a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.
The Role:
- Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is the #2 in the finance department.
- Exposure to pre and post-deal acquisition activities, allowing you to gain invaluable experience in this area.
- Leadership and management of a team of 3 finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.
- Taking on and enhancing commercial finance responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A duties.
The Requirements:
- Professional finance qualification, ideally ACA or ACCA.
- Strong technical skills and financial acumen.
- A proactive "roll up your sleeves" attitude, ready to dive into the challenges of our dynamic environment.
- Resilient mindset, able to partner and influence key commercial decisions while contributing to the professionalization of our business.
