    The Opportunity:  

    Finatal are partnering with Private Equity backed FMCG/Hospitality business on the search for a highly skilled Financial Controller to support the CFO as the business undergoes significant reinvestment. A recognisable high street brand – the business has been going from strength to strength following the takeover. 

    The company is a leader in the hospitality industry, backed by a Private Equity firm that has success in the sector. With a potential merger on the horizon with another portfolio business, it is an exciting time to be a part of the journey.  

    The Role:  

    Reporting directly to an esteemed CFO, who boasts extensive experience in leading hospitality and ecommerce businesses through scale-up and high growth, the FC will provide day to day leadership and an offset point for the CFO to trust. You will be responsible for leading financial controls, systems, and processes while collaborating closely with the wider team on all things Commercial Finance. 

    • Oversee and optimize financial controls, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. 

    • Support the CFO through future business acquisitions, developments and disposals. 

    • Responsible for automating and streamlining current processes. 

    • Collaborate with the Head of FP&A to develop and refine financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. 

    • Manage and mentor a small team, fostering their growth and development. 

    • Provide timely and accurate financial insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. 

    • Cultivate strong working relationships with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and Investment Board, contributing your expertise to drive business success. 

    The Requirements: 

    • Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). 

    • Proven experience in optimizing or implementing financial systems. 

    • Strong technical acumen and understanding of financial best practices. 

    • Previous exposure to the hospitality sector preferred but not mandatory. 

    • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. 

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. 

    • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
