The Opportunity:
Finatal are partnering with Private Equity backed Hospitality business on a search for a highly skilled Financial Controller to join a dynamic senior finance team. With an impressive EBITDA of nearly 20%, the business stands as a beacon of profitability in the sector, poised for an exciting exit within the next 18 months.
The company is a leader in the hospitality industry, backed by a Private Equity firm that recognises their exceptional potential for growth and success. As they march towards a strategic exit, the business are bolstering the financial leadership team with a key role that will shape their journey.
The Role:
Reporting directly to an esteemed CFO, who boasts extensive experience in leading hospitality businesses through scale-up and exit processes, the Financial Controller will be a pivotal figure in their financial strategy. You will be entrusted with leading financial controls, systems, and processes while collaborating closely with a dynamic Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
Oversee and optimize financial controls, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Collaborate with the Head of FP&A to develop and refine financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
Manage and mentor a small team, fostering their growth and development.
Provide timely and accurate financial insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Cultivate strong working relationships with our Founder, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and Investment Board, contributing your expertise to drive business success.
The Requirements:
Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Proven experience in optimizing or implementing financial systems.
Strong technical acumen and understanding of financial best practices.
Previous exposure to the hospitality sector preferred but not mandatory.
Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
