    The Opportunity 

    Finatal are retained on a search for Finance Director to join a fast-growing technology business that harnesses AI in their platform to automate back-office functions for large blue-chip clients. The company is rapidly growing following being backed by a private-equity firm with a robust buy-and-build strategy. The business requires an experienced Finance Director who will report directly to the CFO and take lead on all board reporting, internal management information, budgeting and forecasting.  

    The Role 

    • Reporting and collaborating closely to the CFO and board, presenting value-added insights from all aspects of acquisitions and investment funding. 
    • Build and develop relationships with banks to ensure the covenants is overseen. 
    • Implement ERP systems, processes and controls across the company to monitor and control key Tech KPIs like System Uptime and Incident Response Time. 
    • Managing and leading the overall finance team. 
    • Be involved in strategic business merger and acquisition projects by collaborating with finance and operational teams. 
    • Creation of board packs for investors. 
    • Establishing robust controls and procedures to ensure compliance. 

    Requirements 

    • Qualified as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA. 
    • Previous FD experience – strong experience in ERP systems, processes, controls, post-deal integration and due diligence.  
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Strong technical skills around accounting 
    • Experience in Private equity is desirable.
