The Opportunity

Finatal are currently retained on a search for a Head of FP&A for a mid-cap sized Private Equity backed market leading Healthcare business. Having already been through aggressive growth and consolidation phase; the business is now aiming to professionalise and digitalise the organisation alongside further extensive M&A activity.

This role will be focused on business partnering with Regional Directors; identifying, analysing and delivering on key KPI’s and enhancing bottom line growth. Coupled with this, there will be full ownership of the business model, reporting to an exceptional Group CFO and experienced Board with strategic outcomes and analysis as well as responsibility for ERP, Reporting and Consolidations systems to enhance digitalisation of the finance function.

The role

Creating a best-in-class, scalable PE backed FP&A function to support a business undertaking an aggressive growth strategy.
Strong focus on automating and digitalising the finance function including implementing an appropriate reporting and consolidation tool such as Anaplan, Cognos, PowerBi etc
Full ownership of the business model incorporating 5yr strategic plan and budget
Being a true business partner to Regional Directors and Board on strategic and commercial decision making and planning
Responsible for creating, improving and designing monthly reporting packs for Exec leadership, Board and Stakeholders.
Hands on and autonomous mindset to identify and execute on potential revenue drivers, cost savings and analysis
Upskill and build on an established 3-man team, maximising both potential and efficiency in the function.

The requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who is 3-7 years post qualified, preferably with a background in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services
Experienced excel user with excellent financial modelling experience, including tri-statement modelling.
Hands on, communicative approach with immaculate presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Previous Private Healthcare Experience is a must for this role.
