    Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Transformation Lead to drive the transformation and turnaround of our organization's data landscape. This role is pivotal in streamlining business processes, consolidating data sources across 25 diverse businesses within our group, and spearheading the establishment of a cutting-edge data warehouse. The Data Transformation Lead will be a strategic and high-level thinker, adept at making data-driven decisions, optimizing business processes, and facilitating technology and vendor selections to align with our ambitious scalability plans. This role requires a visionary leader who can consolidate focus areas for our engineering teams, empowering them to concentrate on revenue-generating activities while revolutionizing data utilization to convert sales data into actionable insights. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    1. Data Transformation Strategy: 

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive data transformation strategy in alignment with business scalability objectives. 

    • Identify and prioritize key transformation initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, consolidating data sources, and optimizing data workflows. 

    1. Consolidation of Data Sources: 

    • Lead the effort to consolidate data sources across 25 distinct businesses, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility. 

    • Oversee data cleansing, standardization, and enrichment processes to ensure high-quality data inputs. 

    1. Data Warehouse Implementation: 

    • Architect, design, and lead the implementation of a state-of-the-art data warehouse solution in cloud-based environments. 

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and systems. 

    1. Technology and Vendor Selection: 

    • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors that align with business scalability and data transformation goals. 

    • Oversee the procurement and implementation of tools and platforms to facilitate data management, analytics, and reporting. 

    1. Team Leadership and Development: 

    • Build and mentor a high-performing data transformation team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

    • Provide guidance and support to engineers, empowering them to focus on revenue-generating activities and reducing administrative overhead. 

    1. Process Optimization and Revenue Conversion: 

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, particularly related to ERP and data warehousing, with the goal of enhancing revenue conversion. 

    • Utilize data insights to identify opportunities for revenue growth, customer retention, and operational efficiency. 

    1. Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management: 

    • Act as a client-facing representative of the data transformation initiative, engaging with stakeholders to communicate progress, benefits, and strategic direction. 

    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution. 

    1. Hands-On Contribution: 

    • Roll up sleeves and dive into hands-on tasks as necessary to drive progress, troubleshoot challenges, and lead by example. 

    Qualifications and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 

    • Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) leading data transformation initiatives within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally in a larger enterprise (e.g., Enterprise Value of $200 million or more). 

    • Expertise in data consolidation, data warehousing, data integration, and cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 

    • Strong track record of technology and vendor selection aligned with business needs. 

    • Experience managing and building teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members. 

    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business insights. 

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. 

    • Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and lead successful transformation projects.
