    The opportunity

    • Finatal are supporting a highly acquisitive FIG business, backed by one of the best renowned mid-market private equity funds. They’re seeking a Corporate Development Manager to project manage full-cycle M&A transactions.

    The role

    • As the Corporate Development Manager, you will support the Corporate Development Director with all full-cycle M&A transactions, taking deals from LOI to completion.
    • You will sit as an intermediary between junior analysts in the team and the Director, supervising the analysts on their daily tasks.
    • FDD is outsourced, but you will be responsible for its review to ensure that any acquisitions are economically viable.
    • You must carry out valuations on any prospective acquisitions and carry out all respective financial modelling.
    • Vendor management will also fall within your remit.
    • You will present all findings to senior management and C-Suite members across the wider business.
    • There is a strategic element to the role and 100 day planning is necessary to ensure a smooth pass-over to the integration team.

    The requirements

    • You must be ACA qualified or equivalent.
    • Suitable candidates will likely be 3-5 years post-qualification.
    • You should be confident leading full-cycle M&A transactions.
    • Ideal candidates will have in-house M&A experience.
    • You should be completely financially competent, with brilliant communication skills – both written and verbal.
    • You must be confident, charismatic to ensure your integration into the wider team.
