Finatal are retained by a c.£200m t/o portfolio asset of a mid-market private equity fund, which has embarked on a high growth buy-and-build strategy. The group will grow rapidly through a strong pipeline of acquisitions and capitalise on a fragmented marketspace, taking the current t/o to beyond c.£400m. The Role
This finance business partner will provide financial and business analysis support to the five regional directors. This job function covers the following aspects, inter alia:
- Ensuring that the right costs are attributed to the right business
- Ensuring that all costs charged are put to the right P&L line and that the regional profit is correctly calculated
- Ensuring that all contractual increases eg RPI as well as ad hoc work are charged
- Providing customer and contract profitability analysis with suggestions for improvement
- Providing bid and tender support
- Chasing outstanding purchase orders with customers to ensure sales invoices can be matched and paid
- Chasing outstanding debts
- Reviewing the unbilled work for collectability and turning it into sales invoices
- Assisting with the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process
- Providing analysis for any potential acquisitions
- Providing any ad hoc finance support as and when required
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Strong finance and analytical experience
- Financial modelling, strong excel skills
- Excellent communicator
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience
- Ideally experience using Anaplan
Education and Qualifications:
- Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
