    About Us:

    My client is a midmarket Private Equity-backed Consultancy business currently undergoing a significant transformation to enhance their technological capabilities. To support this journey, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who can lead the charge in shaping our technology strategy and driving innovation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As the CTO, you will be responsible for guiding our technology initiatives and ensuring our IT and data teams are aligned with our business goals. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Leading and overseeing complex Private Equity projects, delivering innovative technology solutions, and achieving operational excellence.
    • Driving transformation initiatives that enhance our technological capabilities and support our business growth objectives.
    • Leveraging your strong M&A and Post Merger Integration experience to streamline and integrate technology systems and teams from acquired businesses.
    • Consolidating and optimizing IT and data teams to create a cohesive and high-performing unit.
    • Establishing the technology vision and strategy for our organization, aligning it with business goals.
    • Evaluating emerging technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
    • Collaborating closely with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that meet our clients' needs.


    We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar executive-level technology leadership role.
    • A strong track record in successfully leading complex Private Equity projects, driving transformation, and delivering results.
    • Extensive experience in M&A and Post Merger Integration, ensuring seamless technology transitions.
    • The ability to consolidate and lead IT and data teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
    • Ideally, experience as the first CTO at a mid-market or large-cap business, showcasing the ability to shape technology strategies from the ground up.
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across the organization.

They have experienced rapid growth in the last 3 years and are now looking to expand their data team to aid their future growth.  

    As an interim Analytics Engineer, you will be joining a small team on a 6 month basis initially. The role involves deciphering valuable insights from extensive data sets from a range of sources and aiding the data-driven decision making process throughout the organization. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams across the business and will work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics solutions to elevate e-commerce strategies.  

    Experience in a Private Equity environment is essential.
