About Us:

My client is a midmarket Private Equity-backed Consultancy business currently undergoing a significant transformation to enhance their technological capabilities. To support this journey, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who can lead the charge in shaping our technology strategy and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

As the CTO, you will be responsible for guiding our technology initiatives and ensuring our IT and data teams are aligned with our business goals. Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and overseeing complex Private Equity projects, delivering innovative technology solutions, and achieving operational excellence.
Driving transformation initiatives that enhance our technological capabilities and support our business growth objectives.
Leveraging your strong M&A and Post Merger Integration experience to streamline and integrate technology systems and teams from acquired businesses.
Consolidating and optimizing IT and data teams to create a cohesive and high-performing unit.
Establishing the technology vision and strategy for our organization, aligning it with business goals.
Evaluating emerging technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
Collaborating closely with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar executive-level technology leadership role.
A strong track record in successfully leading complex Private Equity projects, driving transformation, and delivering results.
Extensive experience in M&A and Post Merger Integration, ensuring seamless technology transitions.
The ability to consolidate and lead IT and data teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Ideally, experience as the first CTO at a mid-market or large-cap business, showcasing the ability to shape technology strategies from the ground up.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across the organization.
