    A leading Medtech company, based in Leeds, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a seasoned financial leader looking to contribute to the growth of a cutting-edger recurring revenue business. The company has recently completed their Series A funding round and is now preparing for their Series B, with a strong focus on scaling their Annual Recurring Revenue from £4 million to £12 million in the next 2 years.

    The role

    As the CFO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization. Key responsibilities include:

    • Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's growth plans.
    • Providing financial leadership and guidance to the executive team, ensuring alignment between financial objectives and overall business goals.
    • Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, driving accurate and timely financial insights.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and auditors.
    • Monitoring and analysing key financial metrics, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to optimize financial performance.
    • Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and continuous learning environment.

    The requirements

    • Chartered Accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent)
    • Proven experience in a financial leadership role within a rapidly growing organization, preferably in the Medtech or Healthcare industry.
    • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Demonstrated expertise in driving financial strategy and scaling recurring revenue within a high-growth environment.
    • Experience with Venture Capitalist backed businesses and fundraising activities, including Series A and Series B funding rounds.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
    • Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

The role involves deciphering valuable insights from extensive data sets from a range of sources and aiding the data-driven decision making process throughout the organization. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams across the business and will work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics solutions to elevate e-commerce strategies.  

    Experience in a Private Equity environment is essential.
