With an impressive annual revenue of £25 million and consistent year-on-year growth at 40%, they are at the forefront of their industry. As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic CFO to join their team and help drive their ambitious acquisition plans.

As the CFO, you will play a crucial role in the strategic financial management of the company. You will collaborate closely with the executive team, providing valuable insights and financial expertise to support decision-making and drive growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a proven track record in scaling businesses through acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives, ensuring optimal financial performance and sustainable profitability.
Oversee the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, negotiate deal structures, and execute successful acquisitions.
Drive operational efficiencies, cost control, and cash flow optimization across the organization.
Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to support decision-making and drive performance improvements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and legal advisors.

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent)
Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in a rapidly growing organization, preferably in a professional services or technology-driven industry.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in leading and executing successful acquisitions, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to foster a high-performance culture.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks.
Knowledge of the data solutions space and understanding of industry trends is highly desirable.
