Interim Head of IT / CIO – Carve out

Our client in the Energy sector is looking for an experienced and talented Interim Head of IT / CIO to join their team on a contract basis, pre deal. You must have worked in either Energy, Industrials, Manufacturing etc. on a carve out. Ideally within a business of around £150m revenue and 100 heads within a Private Equity backed business.
Responsibilities:
- Work pre deal on the carve out plans for the businesses.
- Lead the IT department and develop and implement the company's IT strategy.
- Manage the IT budget and oversee the delivery of all IT projects and initiatives.
- Ensure the security and reliability of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.
- Work with the board of directors and other senior executives to ensure that IT is aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Manage and develop the IT team.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior IT leadership role
- Experience leading IT teams through complex carve-out projects.
- Strong understanding of the IT needs of industrial or infrastructure companies
- Proven track record of success in delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience of working in other Private Equity backed businesses.
