    Interim CFO

    Job Description

    Finatal are working with a lower mid-market investor who are a couple of weeks away from completing a private equity-backed buy-out of a B2B SaaS and require an interim CFO to drive post deal transformation. You’ll be working closely with the CEO who has led many businesses through exits and the investors who have a track record of successful buyouts in this space.

    As they are looking to scale across their already existing presence in the U.K., Europe and USA, you’ll be responsible for building and restructuring a world class finance team whilst liaising with banks and the CEO in order to streamline costing and create new efficiencies. One of your first tasks as interim CFO will be to build insightful MI by working closely alongside the board in order to forecast and analyse the cash position of this company as it looks to expand its loyal user base.

      • Evaluate Group financials/reporting systems per IFRS standards.

      • Develop and oversee financial strategy and control. 
      • Coordinate monthly closings and report to private equity and debt providers. 
      • Manage Group-level financial activities, optimize cash flow, and oversee banking and FX relations. 
      • Lead financial aspects of M&A, including due diligence, deal structure, and integration planning.  
      • Understanding Cash (order to cash process), structuring cost/consumables O2P lean. 
      • Digitalization across the board of the business- mid-transformation. 
      • Support for sale- marketing and commercial. 

      Key Requirements: 

      • On-site presence in Madrid. 
      • Proficient in spoken and written Spanish.  
      • Nice-to-Haves: 
      • Previous experience as Group CFO. 
      • Exposure to Private Equity or leveraged environments. 
      • Understanding of the Healthcare sector. 
      • Spanish native
