    We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Specialist with a strong finance background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with CFOs and a deep understanding of financial data analysis. While finance qualifications are not mandatory, experience working in a private equity backed business is required. Sector experience is not required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the CFO to gather data requirements and develop tailored financial data solutions.
    • Extract and transform financial data from various sources, utilizing SQL and Excel.
    • Utilize the ETL process to ensure accurate and reliable financial data.
    • Develop insightful financial dashboards and reports in Power BI for analysis and decision-making.
    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing financial data solutions.
    • Liaise with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics and visualization, with a focus on finance.
    • Expertise in utilizing Power BI for financial data analysis and visualization.
    • Strong understanding of financial concepts and financial reporting.
    • Experience working in a private equity backed business.
    • Solid skills in SQL and Excel for data extraction and transformation.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, particularly with CFOs.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

The incoming Interim CFO will be tasked with partnering closely with the Group CEO and Private Equity investors to drive this ambitious growth plan in a highly dynamic sector. 

      Core Deliverables: 

      • Evaluate Group financials/reporting systems per IFRS standards. 
      • Improve finance IT systems and processes for efficiency, transparency, and KPI tracking. 
      • Enhance Group-level financial information to boost performance (margins, staff efficiency). 
      • Develop and oversee financial strategy and control. 
      • Coordinate monthly closings and report to private equity and debt providers. 
      • Manage Group-level financial activities, optimize cash flow, and oversee banking and FX relations. 
      • Lead financial aspects of M&A, including due diligence, deal structure, and integration planning.  
      • Understanding Cash (order to cash process), structuring cost/consumables O2P lean. 
      • Digitalization across the board of the business- mid-transformation. 
      • Support for sale- marketing and commercial. 

      Key Requirements: 

      • On-site presence in Madrid. 
      • Proficient in spoken and written Spanish.  
      • Nice-to-Haves: 
      • Previous experience as Group CFO. 
      • Exposure to Private Equity or leveraged environments.
