Power BI Specialist (Finance Literate)

We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Specialist with a strong finance background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with CFOs and a deep understanding of financial data analysis. While finance qualifications are not mandatory, experience working in a private equity backed business is required. Sector experience is not required.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the CFO to gather data requirements and develop tailored financial data solutions.
Extract and transform financial data from various sources, utilizing SQL and Excel.
Utilize the ETL process to ensure accurate and reliable financial data.
Develop insightful financial dashboards and reports in Power BI for analysis and decision-making.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing financial data solutions.
Liaise with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics and visualization, with a focus on finance.
Expertise in utilizing Power BI for financial data analysis and visualization.
Strong understanding of financial concepts and financial reporting.
Experience working in a private equity backed business.
Solid skills in SQL and Excel for data extraction and transformation.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, particularly with CFOs.
Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
