    The opportunity

    A recently PE backed Property Developer requires an Investment Manager to support the executive team and PE backer in the execution of a range of property and land transactions.

    A newly created and largely undefined role, the core focus initially is in supporting the origination and execution of deals, but will latterly be shaped to fit the individual as the business continues to scale.  The new backers are targeting four-fold growth in the next 5 years.

    The role

    • Leading on all investment related analysis and modelling to support in the execution of all transactions.
    • The development of financial models for a range of services including forecasting, investment appraisal of capital projects, ROI, the review of business cases, etc.
    • Provide critical input into the feasibility of both investment and development opportunities.
    • Providing clear and value adding analysis and reporting into current assets/developments financial performance vs forecast and ROI.
    • The provision of detailed regular reporting and Board/Management Packs.
    • Act as business partner to a range of investment and development professionals, as well as senior management and the Executive team.
    • Development of the companies long term financial and strategic plan.
    • Regular presentation to the executive team and PE backers.
    • Building project budgets and ensuring they are closely tracked and reported on.
    • Ad hoc project work, sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, business case reviews, etc.

    The requirements

    • Experienced Analyst or Associate from an investment bank, corporate finance advisory, or transaction services team.
    • Experienced in supporting in the execution of M&A transactions / investments.
    • Proven ability to lead teams and project workstreams.
    • Excellent modelling skills.
    • Prior experience of leading or overseeing DD workstreams.
    • First class communication and presentation skills.
    • Real Estate experience an advantage, but is not essential.
