Finatal is working with a dynamic and rapidly growing SAAS business, backed by a prominent private equity firm. They specialise in providing innovative software solutions to our clients, helping them optimise their operations and achieve their strategic objectives. With a focus on high growth, they are seeking a talented and experienced Interim Power BI Data Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.

As an Interim Power BI Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data analytics initiatives within the organisation. You will be responsible for implementing Power BI from scratch, ensuring data accuracy, optimising performance, and creating insightful reports and visualisations. Your expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and SQL will be invaluable in transforming raw data into actionable insights for their C-suite stakeholders

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
Implement Power BI from scratch, including data modeling, report development, and dashboard creation.
Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.
Perform data analysis, data profiling, and data cleansing to ensure the accuracy and quality of the information used in reporting.
Design visually appealing and intuitive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure business performance and track progress towards goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.

PE or VC experience is mandatory and UK based candidates only as this role will be on a hybrid basis
