I am working with a PE-Backed Large Cap Pharmaceuticals business seeking to recruit an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to join them - stabilizing function during a time of transition. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing all facets of financial operations, ensuring tight financial governance, regulatory compliance, and fixing issues within the team.

Role Responsibilities:

Work with the senior leadership team to develop and execute an overall finance strategy, including financial reporting across multiple sites and currencies.
Responsible for managing the consolidated financial statements and monthly accounting close processes.
Ensure internal and external reporting requirements are met, including timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and audit compliance.
Implement best practices in financial controls and risk management, ensuring appropriate finance systems and processes are implemented across the organisation.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching as needed to the finance team.

Skills & Experience Required:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with good experience in a senior finance role within a multinational environment.
Experience in Pharmaceuticals is a must.
Strong technical accounting skills and experience closing the books under IFRS.
Proven experience of implementing robust financial controls and a high degree of process orientation.
Experience working with private equity investors and understanding of associated reporting requirements and governance structures.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
