If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as the Group Finance Director of a Private Equity-backed technology business.

    The business is a leading player in the technology industry, with a strong focus on innovation and cutting-edge solutions. With a robust recurring revenue model and an impressive annual turnover of £200 million, they have established themselves as a key player in the market. As they continue to expand their operations, we are seeking a talented finance professional to join the team and contribute to our ongoing success, working closely with a seasoned Group CFO looking to exit the business post exit.

    The Role:

    As the Group Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial growth and maximizing profitability. You will work closely with the executive team, including the CEO and CFO, to develop and execute financial strategies that align with our business objectives. Your expertise in the technology sector and experience with recurring revenue models will be crucial in shaping the financial operations.

     

    • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and the board of directors, ensuring alignment with our overall business strategy.
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize financial performance and support long-term growth.
    • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts, annual reports, and board presentations.
    • Drive financial analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, ensuring sound financial decision-making across the organization.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Manage relationships with external partners, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.

    The Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role, preferably within the technology sector and with exposure to recurring revenue models.
    • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving financial growth and profitability in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
    • Outstanding leadership abilities, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing finance teams.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience in a Private Equity backed business essential; with hands on exit exposure needed
