    The opportunity

    Finatal are partnering with an international Private Equity backed Travel/International Business Services organisation. Scaling through 20-30% year on year growth, the business is looking at an exit process within the next 2-3 years. Working with a seasoned exec and investment team, the Group Finance Controller will lead the finance function across the Group, focus on M&A business integration and play a critical role in the continued business growth.

    The business is recognised as a pioneer through it’s travel/international services and it’s close relationship with technology partners globally. It has recently been nominated for a prestigious environmental award also, only to be beaten by a business with 5x it’s annual turnover.

    The business is looking for a highly ambitious, driven and forward-thinking individual to fit into the team and support its growth from both a personnel and turnover perspective.

    The role

    As the Group FC, the primary focus will be across:


    • Supporting the CFO on a total professionalisation project, raising the finance function to Private Equity standards
    • Overseeing the group finance function, being a go to leader across the group for all technical accounting practices, policies and processes
    • Build, develop and upskill a highly ambitious and fast-growing finance team
    • Possible new implementation of an ERP; hands on lead across the group
    • Hands on day-to-day oversight of budgeting, forecasting, reporting on bank debt

    The requirements

    Working with a competent team, the business is looking for:


    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or professional accounting qualifications
    • 3+ years post qualified experience
    • Private Equity/Venture Capital experience preferred within a high growth business
    • Line management/mentorship experience key
    • Experience within business/professional or people centric organisations preferred
    • Hands on technical accounting, systems and process driven roles
