    The role

    The Role:

    As a Financial Controller, you will work closely with our established Finance Director, focusing on driving growth, enhancing profitability, and upskilling our finance team. Your responsibilities will include implementing robust controls, optimizing systems, and streamlining processes to support our high-growth and commercially driven environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on our business and contribute to our continued success.


    • Collaborate closely with the Finance Director to drive growth and profitability.
    • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and systems.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making and business expansion.
    • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors as required.


    The requirements

    The Requirements:

    • Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
    • Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role.
    • Strong background in implementing controls, systems, and process improvements.
    • Demonstrated track record of success in a high-growth, commercially driven environment.
    • Experience working with businesses of similar revenue sizes (£50-£150 million).
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

They have acquired 12 sites so far and plan to be at 40 + in the next 2 years. This incoming CFO will need to ensure reporting, systems and controls are strong and will need to implement a clear integration plan for a high volume of acquisitions. They will be investor-savvy, able to execute M&A deals as well as being a sound business partner to the CEO and other senior stakeholders.
