    The opportunity

    Finatal are partnered with a truly pioneering and unique Private Equity backed business currently growing 50% year on year. With significant long-term investment, the business is on a path to an exit within 2-4 years and has recently been awarded 3x internationally recognised accolades for their contribution to the AI & ESG sectors.

    Working closely with the PE house as well as an ambitious CFO, as the Finance Director you will be a key driving force in the whole finance function; both technical and commercially driven finance.

    Leading an established team, you’ll focus on upskilling and driving standards as well as identifying key external business opportunities through FP&A and M&A activity.

    As the Finance Director – a focus internally is driving people on their personal and professional development plans; with the business also winning an advanced award for personal growth.

    Working with a forward thinking, people centric and sustainable business model – the business is looking for a likeminded individual to drive the growth and professionalisation.

    The role

    As the Finance Director, the primary focus will be across:

    Supporting the investors and CFO across both FP&A & M&A projects

    Support, lead and grow an established finance team

    Identify growth areas for longer range business plans as well as the core finance function capabilities

    Oversee a new ERP implementation, with a competent FC reporting into you

    Produce board packs, investment analysis and lead on budgeting, forecasting and bank covenance

    The requirements

    Working with a competent team, the business is looking for:

    ACA/ACCA/CIMA or professional accounting qualifications

    3-5 years experience within tech/ESG/people centric/AI sectors

    Experience of directing and overseeing both technical and commercial finance, with hands on experience built

    Support the CFO & investors in M&A activities

    Experience leading a change/improvement and professionalisation process across the finance function
