Finatal are working with an International Tech business in the Financial Services industry that has been acquired by a Private Equity fund with €30bn AUM. The business is a dependable source of information and reliable market intelligence providing in-depth analysis and insights to help businesses make informed decisions. With new capital injections the firm foresees rapid expansion, to capture a larger share of the market and reap heightened financial success. The business is searching for an exceptional and hands on Data Architect to design, develop and implement data architecture solutions that meet the organisations data needs. You will create models, matrix and guidance to create solution data designs to enable data implementation across the development lifecycle. You will have ownership and autonomy for the data modelling, data accuracy, delivery and security and will be working closely with the Head of Data and Data Engineers across the business.

Role:

Design and implement data architecture solutions that meet the organisation's data needs
Develop data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation that ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across the organisation
Understand use case goals across the business and determine the best technologies for the business to utilise
Opportunity to use a variety of different tools such as Snowflake and Databricks; map out the implementation and determine how the business should implement this
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements
Identify opportunities for data standardisation, data quality improvements, and other initiatives that enhance the organisation's data architecture
Ensure that data architecture solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices and industry standards

Requirement:

Strong experience in data architecture or related field
Experience using and implementing Snowflake or Databricks and knowledge of MS Azure.
Strong knowledge of data modelling and database design principles
Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL or Python
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration
Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
