Corporate Development Manager
£80-100K, plus bonus M&A and Corporate Development PE Portfolio London
The opportunity
Finatal are supporting a highly acquisitive PE backed Tech business, engaging in a pan-European buy and build project and seeking an M&A Manager to support the Head of M&A with full cycle M&A activity. The role provides a brilliant opportunity for travel, as well as the chance to enhance your mid-market deals experience.
The role
- As the M&A Manager, you will assist the Head of M&A by project managing full cycle acquisitions.
- You will oversee the outsourced FDD on acquisition targets, to ensure that all they are financially viable.
- You must complete complex valuations on any acquisition targets and conduct the financial modelling on all deals.
- You should confidently present any evaluations of financial models, business plans and valuations to Senior Management and will engage frequently with members of the C-Suite.
- You must manage vendors effectively.
- Broadly, you will hold the responsibility for the execution of all acquisitions.
- 100 day planning will also fall within your remit, to ensure the most seamless handover to the integration team, post-completion.
The requirements
- You must have a foreign language skill in order to communicate well with European vendors.
- You will be ACA / ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
- Preferred candidates will have in-house M&A experience and ideal candidates will likely have worked on mid-market deals for at least 3 years.
- You must have worked on a high volume of deals in the tech space.
- You should be highly adaptable and able to work well under pressure such as to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent financial capabilities are essential to allow for your autonomous dealing with complex valuations.
- You should exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to aid your presentation of complex information to C-Suite members and a non-M&A audience.
