    Title: Corporate Development Director

    Salary: £100-120k, plus bonus

    Role:

    • Finatal are supporting a PE backed infrastructure business, seeking a Corporate Development Director to assist the Head of Corporate Development with the origination and execution of all M&A activity

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Head of Corporate Development with the development and implementation the business’ corporate development strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Conduct thorough market mapping and analysis to identify potential growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and acquisition targets.
    • Evaluate and assess potential investment opportunities by carrying out thorough financial analysis.
    • All FDD will be outsourced but you will be responsible for project managing and evaluating all due diligence streams to ensure that all acquisitions are financially viable.
    • Lead negotiations, structuring, and execution of all M&A transactions.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities for the business.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners, industry experts, and investment firms.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the corporate development team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
    • Ensure that all inorganic growth strategies align with organic growth initiatives to maximise business growth.

    Requirements:

    • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
    • 5-7 years of transactions experience, preferably in infrastructure deals.
    • Strong financial acumen and ability to perform complex financial analysis and modelling.
    • Exceptional negotiation and deal structuring skills, with a track record of successful transactions.
    • Strong ability to think strategically.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
