The role

Lead and oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
Develop and implement effective financial strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team, supporting strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
Drive financial efficiency and profitability through cost optimization, revenue recognition, and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish financial metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting processes to monitor business performance.
Manage investor relations, including reporting, fundraising, and maintaining strong relationships with the growth equity investor.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
Oversee the finance and accounting team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to foster professional growth and a high-performance culture.

Key requirements

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Proven experience as a CFO or a senior finance executive in a high-growth B2B subscription company.
Strong understanding of SaaS business models, revenue recognition, and subscription-based financial metrics.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
