    The role

    • Lead and oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
    • Develop and implement effective financial strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team, supporting strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
    • Drive financial efficiency and profitability through cost optimization, revenue recognition, and pricing strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish financial metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting processes to monitor business performance.
    • Manage investor relations, including reporting, fundraising, and maintaining strong relationships with the growth equity investor.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
    • Oversee the finance and accounting team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to foster professional growth and a high-performance culture.

    Key requirements

    • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
    • Proven experience as a CFO or a senior finance executive in a high-growth B2B subscription company.
    • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, revenue recognition, and subscription-based financial metrics.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
