With recent financial support from a mid-market private equity fund, the company is now ready for significant growth, strategic mergers and acquisitions, and international expansion. This represents a key moment in the company's journey, so they are seeking an ambitious CFO to join them on this exciting path. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Collaborate closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with growth objectives and the long-term vision of the company. 

• Mergers and Acquisitions: Lead the company's M&A activities, from identifying potential targets to conducting due diligence and overseeing post-acquisition integration.  

• Fuelling Growth: Develop comprehensive financial plans that empower ambitious growth targets, ensuring the company has the necessary resources to capitalise on market opportunities.

Working Conditions: Ideally full-time, but reduced hours are possible for outstanding candidates. Working hours are mostly German time zones. Working from home is possible, but no full remote job. Regular role-appropriate work travel is required across our German locations.

Responsibility: Leading the Engineering and technology function, by driving operational excellence in alignment with our business objectives. Managing large-scale initiatives, driving efficient processes, and empowering our diverse talent.

Interim Industry Advisor

Finatal has partnered exclusively with a renowned, large-cap Private Equity fund to identify a Senior Interim Advisor to support with value creation initiatives, go-to-market strategy, wider sales initiatives across the FMCG / Consumer Goods landscape. The advisor will be crucial to defining how the business will be positioned in a competitive market undergoing rapid shifts. Excellent knowledge of the German market trends in the sector is therefore essential, with past experience in C-suite or Board Advisory roles.

Industry awareness should extend to:

• Robust technical understanding of the industry and how to scale on an international level.
• Prevalent market trends coupled with the strategic experience to position the business ahead of these trends in order to cement market leadership.
• The competitive landscape, i.e. the core products, main personnel, and strategic idiosyncrasies of industry players.
